Family Christmas Eve
December 24, 2016
4:30 PM
The Christ candle is lighted in the Advent wreath, and our fifth Jesse Tree ornament recognized as we gather to celebrate Jesus’ arrival!
For more than a half century, the late afternoon of Christmas Eve has featured readings about the birth of Christ, with carol-singing and a tableau of the Manger. Please, join us for this lovely tradition.
Led by the young people of the church, the service will include the collection of “Gifts for the Manger” for Gateway 180, a resource for homeless women and children. Please bring your unwrapped gifts for infants and children, and personal items for women.
