Wonder and Wander, Practicing Our Faith, the Lenten Study Series, special holiday and benevolence events, and more, fall under the rubric of the Christian Education Ministry.

Wonder and Wander

During the 2021-2022 program year, Pastor Dave Denoon, Rev. Merrimon Boyd, and Pastoral Assistant Halley Kim offered this recurring webinar for spiritual misfits and anyone interested in exploring faith beyond borders that no longer work for them. Recordings of the sessions are available as a YouTube playlist

Practicing Our Faith

Practicing Our Faith is a monthly gathering of women seeking to walk more closely with God by studying and discussing faith practices, such as Sabbath observance, stewardship, meditation, and prayer. They usually meet on the second Tuesdays.

Adult Education Opportunities

The Christian Education Ministry offers regular Adult Ed presentations on Sundays after worship. Past topics have included ecology, LGBTQ+ issues, anti-racism, Alzheimer’s disease, native gardening, and media literacy.

Lenten Series

On Wednesdays leading up to Easter, we gather for a 6:00 pm supper followed by lecture/discussion about Christian faith, Scripture, and/or justice. Enrichment experiences are provided for adults and children both, ending by 8:00 pm. Watch our calendar in the late winter for an announcement about subject matter and dates.
