During May, otherwise known as Music Month of our 150th Jubilee, we are having a number of celebrations. Last week, we said our season’s farewell to the Canterbury Bells. This morning, Pastor Dave Denoon offers a very special message featuring reflections of students and choir members of the late Esther Replogle, who was Choir Director at First Church from 1937 until 1968. Miss Rep instilled a love of music in thousands and thousands of young people and empowered countless young women with a sense of independence and ability. But for all that, she was a flawed human being who had to learn to “Let Love Lead.”
