U2 and Fellowship Reunion

Music of U2 was featured throughout worship, played by our cover band and sung by Chancel Choir and guest soloists.
By way of introducing a time of reflection by former youth ministers of the church (1966-1988), Pastor Dave Denoon explained his interpretation of the Disciples as a crew of mostly teenagers who traveled with Jesus as their Rabbi/Youth Director. The very successful Fellowship Group of Webster Groves, which included our church in the lead but was actually an ecumenical effort with other Webster faith communities, therefore to Pastor Dave emulates strongly the start of the Church.
